Today, AMICUS had “Hana-kappa” the Japanese famous cartoon & picture book author, Mr. Tadashi Akiyama.
Our 1st and 2nd graders welcomed Mr.Akiyama with their hand-made craft flowers on their heads showing their gratitude to him volunteering for us.
Mr. Akiyama’s read his books with bunch of body movements and different face expressions, and our students absolutely loved it.
Thank you, Mr.Akiyama for giving us such a precious time!
