On the 13th of March, we held the very first graduation ceremony of Okinawa AMICUS International Junior High School.
The graduates came to AMICUS as Grade 4 students in 2011, the first year we opened the school.
They looked bit nervous and scared of the new environment and English at the beginning but since then, they had been leading us as the senior of the school. And they were really good at it too!
At the graduation, they looked all so proud and full of confidence that brought tears to many parents and teachers who attended the ceremony.
Next month, they will attend high schools in and out of Okinawa and abroad.
We are very excited and proud of their accomplishment.
