Yesterday, Grade 3 students had a lecture from Ms. Junko Miyahira, a teacher at Okinawa School For the Deaf. She explained how people who have hearing difficulties experience some challenges in daily life by doing a live demonstration with the students. She used audio-visual materials including actual hearing aids to teach about how sounds are amplified and how the hearer receives them. We hope we all understand the needs of those people and be willing to assist them.
