From yesterday for 2 days, AMICUS is hosting “English Camp” for eleven high school and junior high students from Yamada-town, Iwate.
They are in class with our junior high students. Last night, our AMICUS families welcomed them as host families.
Today, Iwate students presented about “the Great East Japan Earthquake” occured in 2011. They all suffered from the disaster.
At that time of occurrence, AMICUS JH students were age of 7 to 10, so many of them didn’t recollect the details about the earthquake.
Looked like the presentation caught their heart since it came from the group of the similar age.
