Today's AMICUS 2018 / 10 / 31

【Kindergarten】&【Elementary】Autumn Festival

October 31st is the day the whole school enjoys.

It was the AMICUS Autumn Festival.

Students dressed up in costumes, marching around the school for sweets, making haunted houses in their class, taking class photos and a variety of attractions to enjoy.

Kinder friends and the lower elementary students came to the admin office for the candies.

There was a variety of costumes ranging from American comic heroes, princesses from the world of dreams…they enjoyed marching around the schools in their favorite costumes.

G4 classes prepared their haunted house for today.

It was a cross-curricular activity with Art and Social Studies.

In Art they are studying  a unit where they make artwork using cardboard boxes, and in Social Studies they learned about the city around them. They designed the haunted house like a city.

This was definitely a “Play & Learn” experience for the students.

Some of our Junior High students came to experience intense fear (to cheer their juniors).

The experience was quite intense and there were some kinder friends crying. It must have been quite an experience.

The G1 and the G6 students held a stamp rally around the school.

I wonder what the price was for collecting every stamp!?

Students danced in their costumes for Hula Club.

There was a bit of a chaos with witches and princesses dancing together in their costumes.

Aren’t they cute? lol
