【Elementary】G1 & G3 Charity Event

This day our G1 and G3 students jointly held a charity event.

G1 students sold oranges, and donated the money for helping residents of Mabi-cho, who suffered severe rain and the flood in July.

G3 students spearheaded a bazaar titled “Pay-It-Forward Day.” They collected various items to sell, and to donate to “Kumi-No-Sato”, a local organisation which supports children who suffered and survived the 3.11 earthquake.

G1 students sold all their oranges in 10 minutes. We would like to thank those who donated the oranges, parents who came to help students sell them, and all who made a purchase.

And here are shots from the Pay-It-Forward Day event.

Books, toys, and clothes had been donated.

G3 students tried their very best to raise money.

The day-long total of sales was ¥77,267 for the G3 Pay-It-Forward Day, and ¥20,400 for the G1 Orange Stand.

Well done, everyone!

This charity event was covered by the Ryukyu-Asahi evening news on the 9th.
