【EL】The Best Award! on "The fifth WWF Japan Forest Picture Book Contest"

Last year 2019, AMICUS 2nd and 3rd graders participated in “The fifth WWF Japan Forest Picture Book Contest”.

Through this project, children learned about the current status of the deforestation happening around the world and why it happens. Then they thought about solutions to the forest problems that people are facing now; from the point of views of what people should do to live with animals and how they can build a sustainable forest. Lastly, they made their original picture books to tell what they’ve learned to the world.

Many AMICUS students won the awards and Ao Yamato’s “Everyone’s Forest” got the best award. Congratulations, Ao!
