How do the 2nd graders study? Let’s go see them in the classroom!
English
They were learning how to use the sequence words in the sentence.
For example, they explained the procedures of “how to make a jam toast” or “How to borrow a book” by using words such as “first, next, then, and finally.”
Math
They were figuring out the ways of how to do subtraction by using many kinds of tools.
Some students took the role of “little teacher” to teach their classmates.
Japanese
They read a story and learned some kanji.
At the end of the class, they enjoyed the kanji game!
In the JSL class, they practiced talking about what they had for their breakfast.
P.E.
They enjoyed the exercise so much by doing games!
