Grade 1 is planning an exchange program with elementary school students in Spain.

As its introduction, an AMICUS teacher from Spain gave a presentation about Christmas in Spain.

There is no Santa Claus in Spain, instead, a log doll called “Tio” brings presents to the children.

The children were very excited to learn about the different Christmas cultures!

The exchange program will focus on “Tio” and Okinawan “Shi-sa.”
