AMICUS had its Literacy Fortnight from September 11 to 25, in anticipation of the fall reading season.

One of the events during the Literacy Fortnight is a “Buddy time”, an exchange between different grades.

This year, students from different grades read books and made bookmarks together.

The students enjoyed the interaction between the different grades, that they usually don’t work together.

This year, we also had a new event called “Book Exchange”! This was a fun and SDGs-oriented event where people brought books

they no longer needed at home and exchanged them for books they liked from others! It was a great success.

We look forward to having this event again next year!
