Today, I stopped by the 2nd grade classroom and found the students busy getting ready to celebrate Children’s Day, a traditional Japanese holiday!
They were making fun crafts like koinobori (carp streamers) and kabuto (samurai helmets), using colorful origami paper, tape, and markers. Everyone was full of energy and excited to bring their own ideas to life!
Their impressive focus and attention to detail could rival that of adults!
With their skillful hands and unique creativity, the classroom quickly filled with many wonderful, one-of-a-kind creations.
The students are clearly looking forward to Golden Week!
We hope they all have a fun and joyful holiday!
