AMICUS CAMP Final Day:Day3

Last week, AMICUS held a three-day Summer Camp for lower elementary students from nearby towns and villages!

On the first day, many children felt a little shy. But as they spent time laughing, playing, and learning with their camp friends and teachers, they quickly opened up. By the last day of AMICUS camp, we were hearing, “It went by so fast!” and “I want to stay longer!” from every corner!

On Day 3, the A Team took on the challenge of making pizzas! They spread sauce over the pizza dough and freely added their favorite toppings! Some piled on lots of cheese, others chose colorful vegetables, and some loaded theirs with plenty of sausages — each pizza reflected the maker’s unique personality!

Meanwhile, the B Team enjoyed horseback riding under the bright blue sky! At first, there were a few nervous faces as they approached the big and gentle horses. But soon, they were smiling and enjoying the fresh air!

By this time, the children felt more at ease using English. We often saw them trying to figure out how to say what they wanted, and even showing curiosity about other languages!

Trying out new words, taking on challenges, and stepping into days so different from their usual routine—these three days were truly special for everyone!

All of us on the staff were so proud to see their growth and bright smiles!
We can’t wait to see where their next adventures and discoveries will take them!
