From August 4 to 6, Kai Masaki, a student from AMICUS Junior High School, took part in the 53rd Kyushu Junior High School Swimming Championships in Beppu, Oita.
On the first day, Kai swam the 50m freestyle and set a new personal best, winning 1st place with an amazing time of 23.93 seconds!
The next day, he competed in the 100m freestyle, breaking both his personal best and the tournament record, and once again took 1st place with 52.00 seconds. What an incredible achievement—two championship titles!
Later, from August 17 to 19, Kai also competed in the 65th National Junior High School Swimming Championships held in Kagoshima.
He placed 4th in the 50m freestyle and an impressive 2nd place in the 100m freestyle, both with new personal best!!
We are so proud of Kai for all his hard work and determination. His outstanding performance gave us so much inspiration, and we can’t wait to cheer him on in his future challenges! 🙂
