We hosted the annual AMICUS Café to give more families the chance to discover the appeal of AMICUS.
It was a valuable event where participants could hear real voices from current AMICUS parents and teachers!
This year, the AMICUS Café was held in two locations: Onna and Urasoe.
Families were divided into small groups, where they had the opportunity to exchange ideas and talk in depth about school life, education, and much more.
At the end, the children also took part in a 30-minute immersion lesson.
It was a unique opportunity to learn in non-native language. Although some were a little nervous at first, they worked hard alongside older AMICUS students who kindly supported them. Their effort and bright smiles were truly heartwarming! Adult participants also enjoyed being part of the lesson.
In addition to the in-person sessions, we also held an online AMICUS Café.
Many families joined not only from Okinawa, but also from mainland Japan and even overseas. For those who find it difficult to visit Okinawa, this was a wonderful opportunity to experience the atmosphere of AMICUS from afar.
We sincerely thank everyone who joined the event!
From September 16th, applications will open for new Kindergarten 1 and new Elementary first grade.
We warmly welcome families interested in AMICUS to apply, and we look forward to meeting you soon!
