Recently, our Grade 3 students at AMICUS enjoyed a very special event — Picture Book Theater!
This wonderful activity was planned and performed by our amazing parents.
A few days before the event, colorful posters appeared in classrooms and hallways!
The students were so excited and could hardly wait.
They eagerly counted down the days, saying, “Only two more days until Picture Book Theater!”
Finally, the day arrived!
With popcorn and snacks in hand, the children gathered in front of the big screen and were drawn into the magical world of four beautiful picture books.
Smiles, laughter, and sparkling eyes filled the room as each story came to life.
This event was made possible by SHinE, our Grade 3 AMICUS PTA — thank you so much!
It was also part of our Reading Week Program, which aims to encourage a love of books and imagination through joyful experiences.
It truly became a wonderful opportunity for students to rediscover how fun reading can be!
To wrap up this lovely day, parents surprised everyone with handmade bookmarks.
The children were thrilled, and many said, “I want to read more books!” — a perfect ending to an inspiring day of stories and creativity.
We hope our students continue to explore many more books and grow into curious, thoughtful, and imaginative learners.
AMICUS parents, thank you for planning the wonderful event!
