Before starting their workplace experience next month, AMICUS Grade 8 students participated in a Business Manners Workshop.

We were pleased to welcome a teacher and twelve student instructors from the NIKKEI College of Business, who provided an engaging and practical learning session.

The workshop began with a group discussion on the question, “What does it mean to work?”

Students were divided into six groups, each supported by two student instructors from the NIKKEI College of Business.

They enjoyed learning together through quizzes, discussions, and worksheet activities.

During the session, students practiced essential business manners — including work attitude, greetings, business card exchanges, and telephone etiquette.

Although some students were nervous at first, the friendly and supportive student instructors created a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

Soon, the classroom was filled with smiles, laughter, and active participation as everyone learned together.

To close the day, students expressed their gratitude to the instructors and took a commemorative group photo.

It was a wonderful time filled with learning, smiles and confidence!
