Yesterday, AMICUS conducted an earthquake drill.
When the Principal announced the earthquake over the school broadcast, the students followed their teachers’ instructions and moved along the evacuation routes. All elementary and junior high school students gathered safely on the ground.
It took 6 minutes 22 seconds for everyone to assemble.
Thanks to the students’ calm and steady actions, the evacuation was completed quickly and safely.
After the drill, Mr. Oshiro, the Principal, spoke to the students, praising them for their quick response. He also reminded them of the importance of “Think”, “Learn”, and “Act”—even during a practice drill—so they can be prepared in case of a real emergency.
At AMICUS, we will continue to conduct regular disaster drills to ensure a safe and secure environment for all our students.
