The other day, all of our K1 students at AMICUS Kindergarten went on a field trip to Okinawa Zoo & Museum!

Full of excitement and big smiles, the children couldn’t hide their happiness on the bus ride, knowing they would soon meet their favorite animals.

After arriving, we listened to a special talk from the zoo staff and learned many interesting facts about animals.
The children were fascinated by stories they couldn’t learn from books alone!

Next, they enjoyed a hands-on craft activity.
Looking very focused, they worked hard and did their very best.

After a morning full of learning, it was time for lunch 🍙
In an open, green area, the children happily enjoyed their lunch together with friends.

Then came the highlight of the day — the zoo visit!
They saw crocodiles, chimpanzees, turtles, meerkats, and King of the Beasts “Lion”!

Field trips are special opportunities to discover new things and feel inspired in a different environment.
This trip gave them the chance to learn about animals, nature, and culture — not from a textbook, but through real-life experiences.
It was a wonderful day that helped broaden the children’s world even more ✨
