At AMICUS, many students use the school bus for their daily commute.
Even though some children do not use the bus for their daily commute, they have opportunities to ride it during field trips and school events.
To ensure that all children can use the school bus safely and with peace of mind every day, we conducted our annual Bus Safety Orientation for all kindergarteners, elementary, and junior high school students.

This year, the orientation was carried out over three days, with content and approaches adjusted to suit each group—kindergarten, elementary, and junior high school students.

During the sessions, we highlighted the importance of listening carefully to bus drivers and attendants, as they are responsible for the safety of all students.
We also reviewed the rules and guidelines for using devices on the bus, which were permitted last year. Students went through each rule carefully to ensure safe and responsible use.
In addition, students learned how to use the “drop-off alert buzzer” installed on the bus. They had the opportunity to practice and understand its proper use.
Elementary and junior high school students also boarded the school bus and participated in an emergency evacuation drill.

While we hope that no emergencies will ever occur, these training sessions are important so that students can respond calmly and appropriately if needed. Teachers supported students as they carefully went through each step of the procedure.

The school bus is an essential part of daily school life at AMICUS.
We will continue to ensure safe operations so that all students can use it with confidence.
