The first grade of AMICUS Kindergarten are currently fascinated by creatures like insects and butterflies!
To foster their curiosity, we hopped on the AMICUS bus and went on an inquiry trip to the Ryukyu University Museum, “Fujukan.”

Even inside the bus, the children seemed already bursting with excitement!

As we stepped inside the museum, we found a wide variety of specimens on display, including giant mottled eels, rhinoceros beetles, and rare butterflies and moths.
When the children spotted stick insects and paper kite butterflies, which they often see around our school campus, they were absolutely thrilled!
They also got to observe a live coconut crab and a real habu snake up close!

At the end of our visit, everyone gathered in front of Fuuki-kan for a group photo!📸

After seeing so many fascinating things, it was finally time for the long-awaited lunch!
We moved to the Ikoi Area (Relaxation Square) at Urasoe Dai-Koen Park, where everyone happily enjoyed their delicious bento lunches together.

Even after eating, the children were still full of energy and ran all around the park.
Right there, they even discovered a huge praying mantis, which brought another big wave of excitement!

It was a wonderful day filled with energy and fun from morning till night. It seems the children’s interest in various living things has grown even deeper.

Life at nature-rich AMICUS is sure to become even more exciting from here on out!
