AMICUS Kindergarten Visits Kanna Dam Museum!

Our Kindergarten 1st Grade students are currently exploring the world of “Insects”!
Right now, the children are fascinated by all kinds of bugs and butterflies.

For a recent field trip, we visited the Kanna Dam Museum, home to an impressive collection of Okinawan insect specimens! Inside, the children also discovered preserved specimens of various native Okinawan wildlife, including wild boars and giant mottled eels.
Their eyes truly lit up with wonder as they took it all in! ✨

Afterward, we headed over to the Kanna Dam Lakeside Park for the much-anticipated insect observation and bug hunting!
It was wonderful to watch the children completely absorbed in searching for creatures out in nature.

Then came everyone’s favorite part—lunchtime!

It was a fantastic day filled with learning, exciting discoveries, and growing curiosity!

On the bus ride back, we found some adorable students who fell sound asleep, completely worn out from the day’s adventures… ♪

After learning so much and having such a great time, let’s bring that same great energy back tomorrow!
