In early October, AMICUS Elementary School held its AMICUS Time Club Activity Exhibition Day!
AMICUS Time is a class period dedicated to homeroom activities, including club activities. The event gave Grade 3 students a chance to discover the many clubs they can join next school year. It was also a special opportunity for students in Grades 4–6 to introduce their clubs to younger students and share what makes them fun!
From active clubs like Table Tennis, Soccer, Dance, and Indoor Sports club to creative clubs like Origami, Bingata (traditional Okinawan dyeing), and block, there were so many clubs to explore! Students could also enjoy activities that matched their interests, such as Board Games, Karaoke, Reading club, and Challenge Club.
The Grade 3 students were excited to explore the different clubs! As they watched the older students and tried out different activities, they began to see which clubs they might enjoy! “What do they do in this club?” “Which club should I choose?” The experience gave them a chance to imagine all the fun waiting for them next school year!
Whether trying something new, exploring a favorite hobby, or having fun with friends, AMICUS Time club activities offer wonderful opportunities for students to connect across grade levels and discover new interests and possibilities.
We look forward to seeing our students grow through these fun and meaningful experiences!
