Calligraphy lesson at Kindergarten

Calligraphy is a visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a broad tip instrument, brush, among other writing instruments.

As part of Kindergarten’s curriculum, students began their calligraphy lessons on September last year. They have learned and enjoyed writing Japanese characters using brush. Calligraphy classes also made them feel empowered of what they can do. It taught them to be more patient, good listeners and keen observers as well.

Last January 26th, they had their last lesson with Mr. Nakasone and Miss Yara. The activity resulted into a good collaboration among the Kindergarteners and their teachers. Good job everyone!
