Today Grade 4 visited two fire stations as a part of our Social Studies curriculum.
The students were fortunate to visit the Camp Foster military fire station in the morning in order to learn about fire safety and other related things.
In the afternoon, they visited the Ishikawa Fire Station and learned the ins and outs of being a firefighter in Uruma City.
The students got to witness, firsthand, two firetrucks responding and preparing for actual emergencies.
