Today's AMICUS 2021 / 10 / 05

【EL】G1 Nature Walk

1st graders invited Mr. Takeru Naka, an insect researcher, and went on a nature walk in the AMICUS forest.

Children observed everywhere very carefully to find various types of insects and creatures.

A lot of questions such as “What do you call this?” “What is this creature like?” were asked to Mr. Naka while they were trekking through the forest.

Children previously learned about some poisonous creatures. When they found such plants, they made sure of each other by saying “Don’t touch it because it’s dangerous!”

After they enjoyed exploring the forest, they went back to the auditorium and Mr. Naka gave them a more detailed explanation on the insects and animals which they found earlier in the day.

They were able to enjoy nature very much while following forest safety!

Thank you Mr. Naka for spending a fun time with us!
