The rain from the past few days seemed like a lie, as today we were blessed with clear blue skies—perfect weather for the JH Olympics.
Unlike the Family Sports Day in the elementary school, our junior high students hold this event as the JH Olympics. The name reflects our wish for students to embrace the true Olympic spirit—competing with passion while learning to build friendship, respect others, and value fair play.
I was deeply moved by our students’ sincere efforts in every event. Whether they won or lost, they did their best, encouraged one another, and truly demonstrated the spirit of the Olympics.
The Grade 9 Eisa performance was especially powerful. When the music suddenly stopped due to a technical issue, the students didn’t panic—they kept dancing and singing in their own voices, smiling as they waited for the sound to return. That moment touched my heart the most. It showed their composure, teamwork, and strong spirit.
The Team Performances were also impressive. I heard that most of the choreography and ideas were created by the students themselves. The leaders fulfilled their roles responsibly, and the team members supported them as wonderful followers. Together, they completed outstanding dance performances that showcased their creativity and unity.
I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to all the teachers who work tirelessly for the growth of our students, and to all parents for your constant support and encouragement.
Above all, I want to thank our students. Spending this day together, surrounded by their bright smiles and energy, was truly a joy and an unforgettable experience.
Thank you very much for making this wonderful day possible.
