On the afternoon of November 21, under beautiful weather, AMICUS held our “Kindergarten Family Sports Day” at the Kadena Sports Dome.

The large venue was filled with the children’s cheerful voices and excitement!

We began with the opening ceremony, where the children proudly walked while holding the handmade flags they created.

They looked a little nervous, but their confident steps were incredibly adorable!!

Here are some highlights from the day!

【Gymnastics Performance】

 (K1) The K1 students worked hard to balance their bodies and bravely challenged many different poses.

(K2) The K2 students showed dynamic movements and teamwork as they performed their coordinated poses together.

Their dedicated efforts received big cheers from the audience!

【K1 & K2 Relay】

Mixed-grade teams ran the relay together!

Every child kept running without giving up and reached the finish line—well done!

【K1 Cheer Dance】

With pompoms in hand and bright smiles, the K1 children performed a cheerful and energetic dance.

Their cute performance brought warm applause from the audience.

【K1 Hula Dance】

To gentle, relaxing music, the children danced gracefully with smooth, rhythmic steps.

They completed the dance beautifully all the way to the end!

【K2 Challenge】

Using jump ropes, hula hoops, balls, and more, the K2 children showcased a variety of fun activities.

The moment they succeeded, joyful shouts of “I got it!” echoed throughout the venue.

【K2 Eisa Dance】

The final event was the Eisa dance, which the K2 students had been practicing since before summer break.

With support from the Ryukyu Kazimayā team from Okinawa International University, the children delivered a strong and confident performance that truly impressed everyone.

At the closing ceremony, the children’s proud expressions and bright smiles showed just how hard they had worked.

Their efforts throughout the day gave us many touching and heartwarming moments.
